  • Lokasi : Meeting Room 2nd-Floor SurveyMETER Office, Maguwoharjo Sleman, the Special Region of Yogyakarta

The field implementation of the Survey of Maternal and Child Health Facilities (SKAI) has commenced with the training phase for prospective field assistants. SurveyMETER conducted the training for four days on February 2-5, 2015, at the 2nd-Floor Meeting Room, SurveyMETER Office, Maguwoharjo Sleman, the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

The training was attended by 18 participants with a plan to assign 16 people to the field and 2 people to work at the Research Information Center (PIP) at the SurveyMETER office. SurveyMETER usually implements four-day training divided into two, consisting of three days of class material and a day for field practice. Then on February 6, participants were taught in-depth data entry material on a laptop. The team began fielding on February 9, 2015.

The field team composition plan is one team consisting of nine personnel serving in South Sulawesi Province while another one with seven personnel working in Banten Province, and respectively led by a field coordinator. The task of each field assistant for this facility team is to interview the selected Puskesmas facilities alone, so field assistants (interviewers) are required to be independent in carrying out data collection for this study.
