Enumerator Training Study on Capacity Building for Integrated Mother and Child Health Data Management in the Village and Puskesmas Round 4

The Study Team for the Training on Capacity Building for Integrated Mother and Child Health Data Management in the Village and Puskesmas (Sentinel) again conducted debriefing training before going into the field to carry out activities in round 4. The training took place from January 8-10 January 2018 at Grand Serela Yogyakarta, Jalan Magelang Km . 4 No. 145 Sleman DIY.

The training was attended by 28 research assistants and field facilitators / facilitators. During the 4th round of training, a number of activities and Output Assistance emphasized on the field team, including:

Activities:

  1. Facilitator conduct final check of focus locus sheets and locus and focus analysis slides. In this activity the facilitator looks at the results of the focus locus sheet input, is there anything missing, incorrect input, and data irregularities which are subsequently linked to the 5 dimensions of the Puskesmas data analysis gap. PPT slide results of focus locus analysis are examined whether it is in accordance with the conditions of the graph, whether it has been analyzed using SWOT or others, up to the follow-up plan.
  2. The puskesmas team presented a slide of the focus locus in the puskesmas' internal environment.

The facilitator asks the puskesmas to schedule a presentation of the results of the focus locus analysis. The presentation was sufficient in the internal puskesmas with all sections involved with the data entered in the focus locus sheet. In this activity the facilitator acts as a participant and provides input, questions and assessments of the results of the analysis.

  1. Puskesmas follow-up plan from the results of the discussion at the presentation. The facilitator discusses with the puskesmas staff the follow-up plan from the results of the analysis. Furthermore, what steps need to be taken by the health center related to the recommendation.
  2. The facilitator provides further assistance related to improvements in data source, collection and quality assurance. From the results of the presentation, it is associated with 5 data dimensions. Then the facilitator emphasizes which dimensions need to be improved. Conduct discussions with the puskesmas regarding further assistance related to these improvements.
  3. The facilitator monitors and evaluates the assistance that has been carried out. Here the facilitator monitors and evaluates each assisted puskesmas. Next, record any changes and achievements from the results of the 5 dimensional analysis gap and any improvement notes related to the health center data management.

  1. Puskesmas follow-up plan from the results of the discussion at the presentation
  2. Increase in knowledge and awareness of puskesmas related to integrated data management (source, collection, quality assurance, analysis and data usage)
