Pilot 3 Indonesian Family Health Survey (SKKI) of Bandung City 2015

SurveyMETER repeatedly conducted the third pilot survey for the 2015 Indonesian Family Health Survey (SKKI). The pilot study area is located in 30 urban villages of 8 sub-districts of Bandung City, West Java Province.

It was conducted in collaboration with The Abdul Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS). The baseline survey was planned to implement in 735 villages in 3 provinces: North Sumatra, East Java, and Southeast Sulawesi in the coming months.

Migrant Worker Empowerment Study 2015

SurveyMETER in collaboration with Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) re-conducted a study on Empowering Female Migrant Workers to Access Quality Overseas Placement Services in Indonesia. It was a follow-up to the previous pilot study entitled Migration Study conducted in February-March 2014 at Kapetakan sub-district of Cirebon district. The current data collection of the field study was carried out from last April until the end of June 2015.

Pilot 2 of the Indonesian Family Health Survey (SKKI) 2015

SurveyMETER re-conducted data collection for the Indonesian Family Health Survey (SKKI) from February 3, 2015, continuously until the next 3 weeks. It was implemented in collaboration with The Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), where located in 12 urban villages of 2 sub-districts in Medan city of North Sumatra Province.

It was a continuation of the same study conducted in 2013 in 22 districts/cities in 3 provinces of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Central Java, and East Java. It was self-initiated research for knowledge products research implemented by SurveyMETER with the support of the 2015 Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI) Program. The fieldwork was held from January 6 to January 16, 2015.

The Indonesian Family Health Survey (SKKI) 2014 - Pilot 1

SurveyMETER conducts the Indonesian Family Health Survey (SKKI) in partnership with the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) and the Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). The fieldwork and study collection began in October and was completed in November 2014. This study area took place in three villages in Gresik Regency, East Java.

Prior to the baseline survey, which will be conducted in 735 villages and subdistricts throughout three provinces in 2015—North Sumatra, East Java, and Southeast Sulawesi—this study is a phase 1 pilot survey.

It was a program supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and part of the design of the NGO support program in Indonesia from the institution that would be planned as the National NGO Study and Service Centre for Poverty Reduction and Development (NSSC).
