The Training of Trainers (ToT) for Community and Facilities (KOMFAS) Survey IFLS-5 (SAKERTI-5) was held from Monday, January 19 to Monday, February 2, 2015, at the Brothers Hotel, Solo Baru, Surakarta City, Central Java. The Principal Investigator (PI) of IFLS-5 and the board of trustee chief of SurveyMETER, Bondan Sikoki, MA, launched the training, accompanied by Firman Witoelar, Ph.D., the Research Director of SurveyMETER and the person in charge to implement the survey.

The ToT participants consisted of 25 personnel, almost all of them were field assistants/enumerators recommended by the 23 IFLS-5 household/HH teams. This household team entered the end of the work on the enumeration area. The ToT participants are candidates for team assistants in the enumerator training (ToE) or field assistant training scheduled for 20 February to 12 March 2015. These ToT participants are also candidates for field supervisors (Waslok) and CAPI data supervisors (Wascapi) in field data collection.

As usual, the ToT material is a mixture of the classroom (indoor) and field practice (outdoor) teachings for the last four days. (JF)
