SurveyMETER earned the honor to conduct a formal hearing and disseminate the study results with the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, at the Kepatihan Office on Jl. Malioboro Yogyakarta on Friday, February 27, 2014. The Head of BAPPEDA, the Head of the Health Service, the Head of the Education Service, the Head of the Social Service, and the staff at the DIY Regional Secretariat accompanied His Excellency. Meanwhile, from SurveyMETER there were Bondan Sikoki, Ni Wayan Suriastini, Firman Witoelar, Edy Purwanto, Dani Alfah, Nasirudin, and Setyo Pujiastuti.

SurveyMETER seized the opportunity for hearings to convey the general profile and development of SurveyMETER's research activities from its establishment in 2002 until now. On this golden opportunity, the results, policy implications, and recommendations of a number of independent studies in the fields of health, education, and disaster were also presented in the 2012-2013 period in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, also conveyed were village assistance activities carried out in the Bantul district.

His Majesty said on that occasion that the existing data submitted could be material for discussion by BAPPEDA and related agencies. He also invited SurveyMETER to organize discussions with BAPPEDA in order to discuss related issues. (JF)
