On December 16, 2013 until January 4, 2014 ago, SurveyMETER has conducted a survey of Financial Assistance Program Peumakmoe Gampong (BKPG) in Aceh Province. The survey has been carried out in cooperation with SurveyMETER, Consolidating Peaceful Development in Aceh (CPDA), PNPM Support Facility (PSF) of World Bank, and BPM of Aceh province. 

The primary objective of this study was to measure whether the program is financed by the BKPG has met the society needs. In addition to measuring the utilization of the program financed by BKPG, and to measure the effectiveness of program implementation BKPG in achieving the indicators that have been set by the program. The survey of BPKG program was conducted in 6 districts in Aceh province.

BKPG was started in 2008. This program is a step-up of the Helsinki MoU between the Indonesian government and GAM on August 15, 2005. In this program, the Government of Aceh was given discretion to redevelop the area in improving the local economy. The Acehnese government programs in improving the society welfare is to make BKPG Program.

The focus of this program, especially in terms of infrastructure improvement, women's savings and loan funds, strengthening the field of health, education and the strengthening of the Gampong government. Until the year 2013, there have been 6,450 in the village districts / cities in Aceh who receive benefits from the program, where each village is given fund 70 million per year. (EDM/JF_Trans by A5)
