HLUN 2013 Campaign by SurveyMETER and PERGEMI Yogyakarta

Indonesia celebrated May 29th as National Elderly Day (HLUN). SurveyMETER as a research institution with concerns in the social, economic, health, and education fields including the issue of the elderly and population aging, collaborated with the Indonesian Medical Gerontology Association (PERGEMI) Yogyakarta, bring together a campaign with the tag-line: RESPECT, LOVE, PRIORITIZE, LOOK AFTER, and CARE for the elderly. A number of billboards and banners containing those five invitations have been installed since May 24 in the Adisucipto Airport area, Bringharjo Market, Pojok Benteng Kulon, Kentucky Fried Chicken Sudirman, some intersections of the main roads, and various other strategic places.

Furthermore, on Wednesday (29/05), the peak of the campaign activity was the distribution of stickers containing the same five invitations at several crossroads and strategic places in Yogyakarta City. Among them are the Giwangan Terminal Crossroads, Jokteng Kulon, Wirobrajan, Tugu, Monjali, Kentungan, Condongcatur, Sagan, Janti, and Wonosari Crossroads. [JF]
